windtest Runners Raise €1,000 for “Corona Emergency Aid Worldwide” Fundraiser
"Together against Corona!"
Fifteen windtest grevenbroich gmbh employees ran 878.7 kilometers in February to raise €1,000 for global coronavirus relief. For every kilometer traversed, windtest donated €1 to Aktion Deutschland Hilft’s Corona Emergency Aid Worldwide. Aktion Deutschland Hilft, Germany’s Relief Coalition, is a strong alliance of 22 German aid organizations.
The windtest runners’ mantra:
“Together against Corona!”
was a reference to the fact that, due to coronavirus safety measures, each person ran alone but was connected to everyone else to benefit a greater cause.
"We’re thankful and proud of the employees who contributed their time and effort to help curb the further spread of COVID-19,” windtest grevenbroich CEO Monika Krämer said. “Many of the world’s poorest countries in the world are being hit the hardest. So whether it’s for Syria or Africa, South Sudan or Yemen, right now is the time to be there for each other. When it comes to the pandemic, we all share a sense of humanity and responsibility."
